Morning After

No matter which demons chased and taunted me the night before, walking along the beach in the early morning hours, walking early enough to greet the new day, sometimes If I am fortunate enough to witness the splendors of the rising sun dressed in all its magnificent colors, somehow, I feel renewed hope in finding the meaning perhaps not to all life but to my life. The biggest questions that dance around in our heads, taunting us like unfriendly play mates, maybe ours is not to know but to trust in something profoundly deeper and larger than the tiny brains we inhabit and that we call our home temporarily.  Morning is the time to cleanse ourselves of all the doubts and questions we might have that rarely yield answers but only more troubling questions. Morning is the time to simply be and to relish each passing moment, letting go, forever letting go.
